Florida Asbestos Inspection And Removal

EE&G's building inspection and asbestos removal program is directed by three full-time Licensed Asbestos Consultants. The Licensed Asbestos Consultants oversee an experienced technical staff consisting of project managers, building inspectors, and project monitors to ensure the delivery of consistent, high quality services. Original and periodic training of all EE&G personnel meets or exceeds the requirements of the Asbestos Hazard and Emergency Response Act (AHERA).

EE&G specializes in asbestos inspections, microscopic analysis of suspected asbestos-containing materials, monitoring and analyses for airborne asbestos, and the design and implementation of asbestos abatement projects and operations, and maintenance programs. Asbestos can lead to poor indoor air quality. Our Computer Aided Design (CAD) system enables quick reproduction of building floor plans, and provides greater detail and overlay options. Asbestos Laboratory Services

EE&G offers complete analytical services for the determination of asbestos content in building materials. EE&G's capabilities include an in-house Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) laboratory, which is accredited by the National Institute of Standards and Technology‘s NVLAP National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program for bulk asbestos.

Polarized Light Microscopy
EE&G's PLM laboratory is accredited under NVLAP Accreditation Program for Bulk Asbestos. EE&G has been participating in the EPA Bulk Analysis Quality Assurance Program, sponsored by the Research Triangle Institute since January 1987.

Phase Contrast Microscopy
EE&G has actively participated in the NIOSH Proficiency Analytical Testing program for air analysis since April 1987. EE&G also participates in a voluntary round robin program with other accredited PCM laboratories.

Quality Assurance Programs
EE&G has developed Quality Control/Quality Assurance manuals with strict internal quality control standards for all TEM, PLM, and PCM analyses.

EE&G's Quality Control/Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for administering the program to assure that compliance standards are met. The quality assurance/quality control officer routinely conducts quality control checks internally and in conjunction with other accredited laboratory facilities. EE&G's manuals and records for any building inspection including asbestos removal, air quality tests, and other services are available upon request.
