ASBESTOS-CONTAINING MATERIALS (ACM) at the Royal Embassy Condominium

EE&G conducted Asbestos Removal – Full Unit Decontamination and Remaining Popcorn Removal, Initial Bulk Sampling, Sr. Project Management, Background, and Final Air Clearance Testing at the Royal Embassy Condominium. This process involved the identification, removal, repair, and encapsulation of materials or products in the structures to eliminate the threat of exposure to toxic asbestos fibers.

Asbestos abatement began within 3 days after authorization and the final report was submitted within 3 days of the last site visit.

Task 1 – Abatement Contractor for Asbestos Removal

EE&G provided labor, materials, and equipment to do follow-up wet final cleaning removal and disposal of the asbestos-containing materials. Work was conducted following a pre-determined schedule of two workdays including clearance air testing and removal containment. EE&G also provided project supervision, under the supervision of a Florida-licensed Asbestos Consultant, for the removal of (ACM).

Task 2 – Initial Bulk, Background, and Final Air Clearance Testing

EE&G, a technician working under a Florida-licensed Asbestos Consultant, conducted emergency background air testing (as per EPA request) and conducted final clearance air monitoring and provide a final report for the removal and cleanup of (ACM).

After abatement concluded EE&G conducted final clearance air monitoring and provided the final report for the removal of (ACM).
