COOLING TOWER WATER TREATMENT

AT EE&G we offer Cooling Tower Water Treatment Patent-pending Comprehensive Cooling tower water treatment program, installation and annual maintenance.

EE&G is one of the few companies offering tower water treatment at the best price. We have a truly comprehensive system that addresses all of the major issues that may lessen the design efficiency or reduce the biological safety of the cooling tower and connected equipment. Service includes monthly reports that will lead to compliance with all of the major United States regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, and CDC) guidelines and regulations. Major reduction in resource consumption of electricity, water, chemicals, capital, and manpower.

CHEMICAL WATER TREATMENT FOR COOLING TOWERS AND SYSTEMS

Water cooling is a method of heat removal from components and industrial equipment. As opposed to air coolingwater is used as the heat conductor. Water cooling is commonly used for cooling automobile internal combustion engines and large industrial facilities such as steam electric power plantshydroelectric generatorspetroleum refineries and chemical plantsOther uses include cooling the barrels of machine guns, cooling of lubricant oil in pumps; for cooling purposes in heat exchangers; cooling products from tanks or columns, and recently, cooling of various major components inside high-end personal computers such as CPUsGPUs, and motherboards. The main mechanism for water cooling is convective heat transfer.

Our chemical programs are effectively used for the reduction and prevention of the three major issues your industrial cooling water system may encounter corrosion, deposition, and microbial growth. Corrosion leads to metal loss that can result in critical system failures in heat exchangers, recirculating water piping, and process cooling equipment. Corrosion also results in a loss of efficiency as corrosion products precipitate on heat transfer devices, insulating the metals.

OPTIMIZING COOLING SYSTEM EFFICIENCY

Biological organisms, including algae, bacteria, protozoa, and fungi, often find their breeding grounds in cooling towers. If not properly controlled, biological growth forms and acts as a natural adhesion surface for scale formation, resulting in fouling. All of these conditions can be seriously problematic when it comes to optimizing the efficiency of your cooling water tower or system. EE&G  can provide excellent protection against these cooling system challenges.
