EE&G supported affordable housing redevelopment on a former construction and demolition landfill impacted by soil and groundwater contamination. Services included site assessment, source removal, remediation planning, design-build, and ultimately the performance of site work, utility and stormwater system installation, and installation of an engineered cap.
The team also assisted with Brownfield designation, rehabilitation agreements, and tax credit applications. Regulatory coordination, engineering controls, cost effective soil management, and groundwater monitoring helped establish a path to site closure and redevelopment.
