EE&G helped prepare a former bulk oil distribution facility and dump for redevelopment. Services included environmental due diligence, Brownfield designation assistance, assessment of soil impacted by petroleum, heavy metals, and dioxins, followed by interim source removal, soil management and installation of an impermeable cap.
The team helped secure state brownfields funding and managed the design-build of soil remediation, site work, and installation of an engineered cap. Following redevelopment, EE&G verified engineering controls and assisted in obtaining conditional site closure from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
